Which Way ??

Rookie Question! Which way does the tab go on a CR-80 head gasket? First time having a head off and forgot to look, You shifter guys really have a well kept secret here, these things are more fun than sex,cheaper in the long run too!. I know my wife won't see this TIA

There is a tab on the head that matches the gasket. It goes towards the intake side.

The tab faces the intake. There is an "up" painted on the tab indicating that it faces up. You probably knew that though. Book says 240 in. lbs. of torque on the head.
