Dawn - as a professsional Costume Designer for many of the top dance companies in Los Angeles, I would be more than qualified to dye Travis a pair of Top Kart Blue Ballet Shoes !
You get the shoes, I will make them PRETTY for you....BUT! I DO want a poloroid or photo of him in the shoes to hang up in the trailer for when I'm feeling grumpy!

I think that there are plenty of karters out there that can make that next step but it doesn't make any difference if they don't have any money. Any Joe can get a ride in an Atlantic if he brings the money needed. There are so many drivers out there with the talent and no money. Everyone listed so far has a good chance and will do great if given the chance to prove themselves and even that isn't enought sometimes. Just ask Aaron Justus, great driver, dominated the USF2000 series last year and is stuck in a contract with Foysythe and is now helping promote the Skip Barber program. Takes Money, Luck and then talent to make it today. Just hope that I can find the money to do it. |

David, don't be fooled by tales of the "good old days." It's always taken those three to make it to the top of motorsports. |

An idiom on luck according to the dictionary-
"To attempt something without knowing if one will be successful."
Jeremy McGrath said, 'I don't believe in luck. Luck is something you create.'

| I think some golfer said something like, "the harder I work, the luckier I get" |

| Sorry Charlie, I was unaware of that. I will not type in all caps again, but I still dont think that you need to be making and assumptions! |

| An assumption would have been identifying a single cause. I offered two distinct and seperate possibilies and further identified I knew not which was the case. Offering the possibility that you were not aware of internet courtesy, gave the opinion that it may have been a simple innocent mistake, which as you state, it appears tohave been so. Therefore one of the two possiblities which I offered was indeed a correct assumption, which you confirmed yourself. |

| And speaking of forgetting karters who now drive professionally, remember Bryan Herta came from karting/Skip Barber. Not sure to what extent he was financed by his family past formula Ford, but I always tell outsiders (to the racing world) that anyone driving professionally today has spent a tremendous amount of their own money to get to where they are---irrespective of raw talent. |

Kyle
You can say that again. I just received word that Jason will be driving for Lynx Racing in three of the final four CART Toyota Atlantic races.
He'll also be racing at Mid-Ohio this weekend in US F2000.
By the way, Mr. Kyle and Ms. Brooke, could one of you kindly modify your profile to display (one of your) last names?
Thanks much, it was good to see you both in Canby.
Jeff
