Howdy,
Anyone know of any 125 racing while we are taking a break in the Mission region? The kid is bouncing off the walls. Help, PLEASE!

Larry,
First of all, welcome back. Its nice to see your font again....
I would go to the Gold Coast Club race on 8-18. It is where the next Mission race is being held, so it will be a good opportunity to test. At a few events this year they have had as many as 15 125s, which is excellent for a club race. It is a Saturday night event, where the heats are held in the daylight, but the mains are held under lights. If Randolph hasn't ever raced at night, he will find it to be very exciting. Rick Brown runs an excellent, efficient program with the emphasis on safety. Also, this race will be our ROTAX MAX Challenge finale, so you can hang out with the geeks that run this site.
ANDY
Reg starts at 1:00pm
Practice at 2:00pm
Drivers meeting at 4:00pm
Races start at 4:30pm
Usually over by 11:00pm |

Thanks Andy. That sounds like a winner. I totally forgot about Gold Coast. ShifterKarts!USA also runs there, and Randolph is leading in the points. But, turnout has been down, and he definatly needs some competition to keep sharp for the next Mission race. And remember, this is a politically correct world...it's "Techno-Weenies". We can use "Geeks" in the beer circle. Thanks.

Hey, I may go! Do they set up temporary lights all around the track??? Whats the turn out like for 80cc senior?
Glad to see Larry back at the keyboard. If you do go, let me know. I'll give you a hand , especially lifting onto the stand!

The kid doesn't weigh much though, so you will regret the offer. Maybe I'll see you at Amago on Sunday. We can BS.
