I hate it when I post under my bro's name accidently. O well.

Everyone,

If you notice, this thread started as a question about if today's drivers were using the web to their advantage - a good discussion topic. It has more or less morphed into a driver website advertising forum.

We're officially still in Test Mode until 11:59:59 PDT tonight, so I'm kind of letting it go, but we'll want to refrain from doing this in the future.

EKN has a Driver Profile page, a soon to be released Driver Website Hosting program, and a Links page. That should give everyone an opportunity to showcase both their driving career and their web acumen.

I am putting together on for my Results, my sponors bragging room and a small parts business on the side. It is slow for me since I do not have lots of experience building one, but it is doing okay so far. If this thread lasts another week I will list the url for you all to give me ideas and feed back.

In an overall response to the original question, I think the answer would be that: YES. Some drivers are certainly using the web and it's advantages. EKN will be offering driver websites soon and I feel this will only accent the best karting site currently on the net today.

I apologize if I started a monster (again) on these boards but am happy to see all the drivers who currently DO have web pages.

Boy, I sure didn't give this one enough thought (figure that one...)before I started the topic. I agree with Glenn that this one seems to have traveled a little bit off course. Question answered. It will be really cool when the EKN Dynasty expands even further with the offering of driver websites. Could this be a one stop shop for driver scouts of major teams in the future?

Sorry, I guess people didn't understand my post, so I'm closing this topic. We discourage advertising-type posts, of which many of these were.

Web marketing is a great topic, if someone wants to start a new thread.

For those interested in getting their site more visibility or their career, EKN will link your site in our links section, has free driver profiles, and will soon unveil our website hosting. I know this may sound like self-promotion - the aim is to give some of these people alternative exposure channels, many of which just happen to be with us.
