After thinking that my problem child CR80 was fixed before heading to Canby, I discovered that the wrist pin cir clip problem is better but still exists.
Since we have a new head, barrel, piston, rod, crank and all related parts, the only thing left is perhaps a crooked pair of crankcase halves.
Can anyone truely and accurately cut the crankcase ala KT100?

Rick,
I have heard rumor that some people are angle cutting the cases. I couldn't tell you for sure.
One of the problems that I see is the center gasket, or how the cases bolt together with out any stop or reference bosses.
I would guess that the cases could be checked on a surface plate in relation to the crank. After that I'm not sure.
I have welded up two different sets of cases after rapid disassembly. In both cases, I have not had any failure other than running a crank too long with too much compression.
