re opening Carrollton Missouri sprint track

Dear racers

I have been in contact with city officials about the Carrollton Mo
sprint/oval track. It seems that the city has retained ownership and would
like it to be used as it was meant to be. A kart track.

I would like to know if anyone would be interested in helping me start this
track up? I would be willing to get the ball rolling. I need at least 4
other people that would be willing to work hard and possibly invest some
money to get this track going. It is no secret to anyone that raced their
that the track needs some repairs. The prolonged dormant state has not
helped the
track any either.

But I know I can't do it all by myself. The track needs work. I have a
meeting set up the first of Aug. to discuss what the city is willing to do.
I am to far away to do it all by myself. I see setting up a board of elected
officials to over see the work and do the work. This club must work
together for the same goals.

There are a lot of unanswered questions about how, when and where but this
is a start. I would like to know if there are enough people out there to
work hard at saving this track? This would be a lot of hard work and only
serious people should respond to this e-mail.

This is a rare opportunity to have a track by the karters for the karters.
