Just wondering what would be a better chassis for autoX. A soft flexible chassis or one that is more solid.
I'm guessing that a soft chassis will generally have more bite, but that it may not transition as well.
Or is this just driver preference? |

A hard chassis is going to have to have grip to "work". Autocross courses are typically quite green since they're all temporary circuits, and usually QUITE dusty for most of the day. Even Nationals doesn't have the rubber build-up that a kart track will have at the end of the weekend. For that reason, I'd tend to say that a softer chassis is going to work better. I think that several manufacturers are moving toward harder chassis, though, as more shifter tracks (and big-name series) come along.
