I just put new floaters and discs in my axle
clutch and it doesnt turn so freely now.
Will it loosen up when turned at high rpm. |

Did you check the air gap before you
closed the clutch up?The air gap should
be around .050" Whenever I have put new
lignings in the past I have had to sand
them a little bit and sometimes put in
thinner floaters. If the air gap is to tight the clutch won't work properly and is
usually hard to turn.

This may be a long shot but did you crank the adjuster screws in enough? If you just have them started in and not to close to the proper height, the clutch will seem locked up. good luck,
