Does anyone autox their kart at Englishtown Raceway Park. I am on the Rutgers SAE formula race team. They will occasionally go to the Autox event to test how the car is performing. When they are there I would like to be able to still get some time in the kart and help them with the car. Do you guys have a problem with it being to bumpy? How much faster is the course? I assume i would have to run a much smaller gear with my kt-100. Probably not worth the trouble but still interested. Any information on autoxing a kart would be helpful.

Hey Steve,
I'm a former Rutgers FSAE guy.
I've thought about but have always figured that racing at the track is more fun (seat time=fun). I've also worried that it might beat on my chassis/ribs too much. I might be interested to try it out though. Let me know when you guys go out there and I'll join you if it doesn't conflict with one of the races or anything else I have planned. |

Put me on the "let me know list" also... I'm on long island, and if other karts are going to show up for autox, its worth the hour and a half trip...
