I've had a Trackmagic shifter kart for about a year now but have never had to change the rear, driven sprocket....until now. I was given the large wrench for the left-handed lock nut that is on one side of the 2-piece sprocket. On the opposite side of the sprocket is an aluminum sleeve held in place with an allen bolt/ key way/ compression fitting which I loosened. My question is how to remove the nut and sprockets. I tried to wedge a dowel in the rear disc, but the nut seems to be incredibly tight. Am I missing a short cut as this is supposed to be a "quick change" gearing set-up and I'm going to Pocono on Sunday. Thanks,

| Paul, Try holding the spanner wrench on the large nut and at the same time rotate the axle backwards (with some FORCE)and let the wrench "bang" against the frame rail. This allways work for me on CRGs. Hope this helps, Greg |

| Remember this is a left-hand thread, so you have to turn it clockwise to loosen. But you knew that already. |

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up having to use a long breaker bar on the wrench while someone sat in the kart and applied the brakes. It was seriously torqued on the axle and has since caused no problems.
Thanks again,
