Riley,
Keep the videos coming. Too cool. Don't have to add the music; hearing that twin is music enough for me!

| Congrats on the awesome footage and performance. I just showed it to everyone at work (white collar crowd of accountants and chemical and bio engineers). Really gives the viewer an appreciation for the speed and how violently we get tossed around on the bumps. Ok, here's where I piss people off. No doubt Riley was awesome as THE MAN but I couldn't help but notice how Vinny's kid was holding his own in the 20 year old Gibson 256 laydown. True, that's his home track but it sure didn't look like he was "parking it" in the corners. Its a free country and everyone has his preferences but as I said, the radar gun doesn't lie. And the Russell karting laydowns (Euro 5?) were faster than EVERY Superkart through the right hand sweeper at Daytona. Tell me again about the inferior laydown handling? That BRC motor is SWEET. I'll take the sound of that thing over music anyday. Congrats again. |

| What are you talking about? The only place you looked slow was on the grid before the flag dropped. |

Jim showed me some smoother faster lines through turns 1, 7, and 9. I looked at my data and my average top G loading was 1.8, I have data from drivers that are at the weight and they consistently achieve 2.8 . So the extra 50+ Lbs I carry definitely hurts. I think before I add any extra trickery to the kart, I need to work on my fitness. It will pay the largest dividends, king of like adding say 6-10 more HP too. _________________ Riley Will

Hey Riley,
What was your weigh in at this race? Just curious as you know that weight is no issue for us. Have been hitting the treadmill for 1 hr every morning before eating, weight down to 206 from 215. Need to get under 200!

That is some great footage. That track looks very rough. Either that or your head is attached like a bobblehead dolls just flopping around.....
hmmm, possible BRC marketing idea - the Riley Will bobblehead doll....

Reggie, I weighed in at 529 after the race I am 220 Lbs at the moment.
Trevor, as soon as I saw the video I thought the same thing. The track was similar in surface quality to Portland, so not smooth but not bumpy either. The camera was right on top so that probably amplified things a bit. I want to do more onboard stuff, it's too cool:) _________________ Riley Will

Cool video, good to watch while waiting for the season to start. Do you have any info on the camera set up and is there a way to clean up the audio (less noise more engine sounds)? I am waiting on the DVR from Chasecam. _________________ Melvin Nelsen |
