| You forgot to mention the weekend was a complete debacle. The local cops set-up a radar sign before the last turn to the track in the middle of nowhere---obviously just to harrass those wild and crazy karters. Guess one of the people in the single-wide trailers there saw a truck going by too fast. It gets worse.....some bonehead (could be a local could be a karter nobody knows for sure) thought it would be cool if they dragged the radar sign out onto the front stretch overnight. And they trashed the gate getting it in. Well needless to say, the local pigs and the track manager weren't amused. They made all kinds of threats trying to get the culprit to come clean which of course didn't happen. Then the track manager went around tyring to harrass people by charging them by the foot for their trailers--something which wasn't announced and has never been done there before. Poor Chuck. The guy can't catch a break. He really loves kaerting and works as hard as anyone in the business to put on a good show. I just hope we get to keep running at such a great and safe track. Riley Will was awesome. For those not familiar with the track 1:11 is hard to imagine. |

Thanxs guys, the weekend was a ton of fun. I think that a driver that was at the weight limit with my kart could have turned 1:09's!!! I look forward to being at Barber, maybe a few pounds lighter too. BTW, where was everyone, I thought this was a big race as it was a WKA National?
It was too bad for me that the flag man threw the checker at the 18 minute mark in race 1. Good for Jim Brannon though. It was educational following him through the infield, he showed me the right lines. The flag man fealt really bad. You can't make a super big stink about it, he didn't mean too and you can't bring back time.
I would like to thank Rocky Stargel and Ward Wilson for working so hard on the kart and making sure I had a good time. Job well done my friends _________________ Riley Will

| I was wondering what happened during that Race1 when I looked at your total race times. What Bernie posted was like a 12-13 munite time. |

Ya, 12-13 minutes is probably more accurate. I'll check my data.........Just checked my data and it showed 18 minutes because I stayed out there for 4 extra laps until I was flagged in. The race did end at around the 13 minute mark. It was still a hoot!
Now, where was everyone else? _________________ Riley Will
