I have heard that Roebling Road raceway in Savanah is a little on the rough side as far as the condition of the track...Can anyone confirm or deny this ?

I ran there all last year in a twin. Its a whole lot smoother than Daytona thats for sure. The place is smooth as a baby's butt. I can't imagine who would think its rough. But Chuck says they're going to repave it this year anyway. Come on. Best promoter in the business too.

Are you guys sure there is a race then? I can't see it listed on Big South's schedule. Please confirm as I want to make plans to be there from the Great White North eh _________________ Riley Will

As long as you are sure it is on, I will start making plans to be there. Can't wait to race as it has been down to -10 degrees F up here. I don't know if it's going to a race or just escaping the cold that has me jazzed _________________ Riley Will

the reason it is not on the Big South site is that it is not a Big South race.
Politics I guess. I will show up anyway. _________________ I race for fun,,, If I win, that's a bonus!

As far as the roughness of the track, they may have been referring to the asphalt being rough on the tires. It is a smooth track but it is about due to be repaved so they track is fairly abrasive. Just thought this might help to know ahead of time.
