I think Frank is asking about our series not the WSK event at Laguna. I maybe mistaken..

I think we should come up with a series T-shirt with the proceeds going to the series. Keeping the funds in the series.

ok... who wants to do it.. it is my logo.. I designed for free of charge for the series.. you have my blessing Johnnie if you want to organize everything to have shirts made.

I made a grand total of $35 on the shirts for WSK and spent 12 hours dealing with shirt sources, arranging updates and revisions with them and following up to make sure they got there on time. I would rather not do that again.

Yah Johnny, I think you ought to jump right into this dazzling money maker of Super Kart promotions as well. Considering what Marc made selling me the shirts and what I still have in inventory, the series bank account will be in the red before it gets off the ground. Heck, you might even be able to quit your day job!

Not offended Johnny - just telling it like it is..

The series is using a logo I designed - for free - so that is one step in the right direction.. the BESt way to do it is pre-order the shirts...

Put out a mailer to all the people on the 250 competitior list - ask them if they are interested in a shirt or 2 or 10.. and get the orders, then order 10-15 more than that and split the cost.

If you want to "keep the $$ in the series" then charge the cost of it to everyone - so they have more money to spend on tires, engine parts, etc.. because any money that you would have as profit - SOMEONE will have to manage - and that someone will obviously come under immediate scrutinee of "making money" on something... just bid out the job to SEVERAL screen printers.. get the cost for the amount you get pre-orders for and share in the cost as an association should do.. saves everyone money.

If anyone does it - contect me for the vector artwork.. and I'll go ahead and put my order in for 2 XL Smile
