Just curious,
Do you guys run the AMB Tran-x 160 transponders in the 250cc wings & things karts? If so, does anyone have any problems with the loop picking up your times at over 135 mph or so? Just wondering because I am thinking of trying my tran-x 160 in my car for some SCCA events next season. It is an F production MG Midget so it will not be going much faster than my 125 over a strait-a-way start/finish. A buddy of mine has been using his Tran-x 260 in his 125 without problems. I understand the difference between the two is the maximum installation height and max speed capability along with housing color.
Thx in advance,
Dan |

| SCCA's computers will flag a low signal or low power from your unit. The 260's power is much higher. |

| That makes sense but I am wondering if the 250 guys are having any problems since they are typically exceeding the rated speed across the line of the TranX160 by quite a bit. |
