Question I didn't ask the question to start a flame war on two people
> I'm planing on going to Moto gp and just whant to know who and how many are going to be there for the superkarts .I would like to watch the
show. If it was a open race I would like to look in to buying a ride.
Just like everyone here I would Love to Kart or Ride Laguna.

If someone decides to run an FE show only, I really think it may be a mistake that they may not recover from in the near term. This is just my opinion, but I know that the number of superkarts are small and offending some will turn them off from any future series. West Coast or East Coast.

Bingo.

Lets face reality here, North America superkarts are not even close in support that is achieved in other areas of the world. We are at a point that in my opinion is going to make/break the sport over here. If we start getting all exclusinve as to who can run and who cant then that will cast further doubt over someone investing/upgrading into our class.

Make no mistake, Laguna is a blast, it's one of the coolest things I've ever got to do. But it is not the only game in the country. Road america is so fast it's unreal, along with a host of other tracks that you would never get a chance to run on. I hope we get to go back to Laguna at some point because it's a well run facility and a great track, but we'll have fun no matter where we go.

Hmmm, time to break out mapquest and determine how long it will take me to drive to Road America from Vancouver BC.......

This is just like a conversation with my four brothers at the dinner table before dad gets home! None of us have any idea what is going on with Laguna, so why don't we wait until someone who does know what is going on to post?
I have a better idea! Come race with me at Infineon friday and saturday November 26th and 27th! The weather is going to be great. You can stay at the track. I'll be there (well, ok so 2 out of 3 ain't bad)!!
Most of all let's be thankful today for all that we have: great roadracing kart clubs, great tracks to race on at cornering speeds only formula cars can compare, volunteers, yes volunteers who allow us to race, etc., I appreciate your intensity and I have been restless too, not knowing what will happen in 2005. Perhaps things are not finalized yet and they, whoever they are, will let us know when they are finalized ?!

I would love to come down Larry, however I am currently healing from a pair of fractured/compressed vertebrae (I know, cheap excuse) achieved while mountain biking, and Dads kart is in the process of being rebuilt after writing it off at the nationals.

I do intend to play at Infineon next season, as well as a run at Thunderhill. Now you see why I wanted Laguna in there as well, sort of a California triple for me......
