Afternoon,

Did you guys have a crew out running at IMI in Erie this weekend with one 80 and a couple 100cc chassis?

Just curious... I was out there myself asking alot of newbie questions and just wanted to say 'Thanks' again for their time.

Glad to hear you're coming out from under all those blueprints to make a formal announcement! Perhaps you should tell everyone a little more about the facility, what types of tracks (yes more than one), how much land you have, and your promotional background. I was quite impressed and truly welcome you all into karting!

Congratulations on getting the approvals and all the hard work gone into this project thus far. This will certainly be a big boost for karting in Colorado and a facility many from all over will want to check out!

Best of luck!

Rhonda, Thanks for all your help. We are looking foward to getting up and running, however we are going to be very careful on the track curing time.
We have approximately 150 acres located in Grand Junction Colorado, it sits right on I-70 with over a half mile of frontage. We are only a few minutes from downtown with a new interchange right at our property scheduled to be built in a few years. The other tracks will include a 1.8 mile roadrace course, stock-car track, motocross, supercross, freestyle, trials and Mountain bike course. We are very excited about the karting and plan on having limited practice this winter with a full race schedule in 2002. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we are just getting into the karting scene. We have been involved in Motorcycle racing for over 25 years. we also own Extreme Promotions which specializes in off-road events, supercross, motocross etc. our supercross events draw crowds of over 5,000 spectators and 400 riders. We hope to try and bring karting in Colorado to that level. Again, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Stacey Cook, Grand Junction Motor Speedway (gjmotorspeedway.com) null
