At the last several races, I've noticed that my leopard seems to be
very sensitive to needle adjustment. Turn the low speed 1/8 and
lap times drop by .5 to .75 seconds. EGT goes up too. Not that
I'm complaining, but is that typical? With the HPV, it seemed that
the sweat spot (needle-wise) was pretty big, with the Leopard it
seems like you have to be right on, or you're loosing lots of time. |

The sweet spot is narrow on the Leopard. you can hear it when its too rich. A sort of growling sound. Too lean and you will feel a hick up as it stumbles and then goes. As long as the EGT rises quickly and continues to increase, your o.k.
The walbro carb has a wider sweet spot. _________________ Patrick Hubbell |

Joseph,
Talk to Doug at Kart Connection. He's pretty good with the carbs (as long as the screw stays in...bad joke). He can help you.
