I'm again sorry admin But I think people would enjoy these pics because they are the winged rats that fly all of our bigger brothers in CART around from track to track. This is why I'd LOVE to see a photo/video area of the forums that 'we' could add to. I'd bet it would be a hit
I shot these Lear's and Cessna's jets when CART plowed through Portland, they were taken from my hanger at FlightCraft where I twist wrench on these planes. I gotta admidt, the 20+ year old 4 stage jet of Michaels is unique indeed.
One importnt thing, ALWAYS remember to look for the "Next" link towards the bottom for more photos in each folder. AND after the photo has popped up, click it again for full screen, eyeball viewing exctasy. heh
Enjoy alright!!!

Forgot a ltitle something.... I've been into racing for many years, in and out for a long time but I kept thinking maybe the same thing your saying about the shifters. You won't get smoked bro and in all reality, if your trailing behind it will only push you harder and harder to seek out your quicknes. Out at Pats Acres in my first race, I ran on a Sat, first time practice and ran the race on Sunday. I tore the hell up out of myself with some wiked rib injuries only to be compounded by a chiro doing more injury. I've been to 5 different doctors with MRI's and guess what, didn't even crash it was just from the seat. Don't get me wrong it was just the seat, which was a Tillet. It works for a LOT of people but I'm a bigger dude and the edge of the seat would drill right smack in the middle of my ribcage. Since then, I picked up a DeepSeat (2 1/2 months later) and it feels like night and day. Back to my point, the first run I ran out there at Pat's I was turning lower 37's. Then after changing the seat, camber and a few other things, this last weekend I was in the 35's in my second 125 shifter run and finished 2nd. So to you my bra, go for it!!!!! If you feel you have it go for it! If your focused and determined you will get quick, real quick like
There's a couple of real good people that have some karts for sale 'localy' that are quit fast. Ronnie Swyers is one of them and has a great 125 package for sale (might have sold by now but theres a shot) and Tim Blaney has a good 80 shifter for sale. If your looking email me and I'll hook you up with the rightfull info....
Take care man! And go for it, go for a shiftie
If I can help with anything, let me know. If I can't help you with what you got, I'll shoot you in the right direction.
Take it easy man.....!
BBbbbrrrraaaaapp!!!!!

| Don't know if you noticed, but these planes have "vanity" registration numbers, with the last two characters being the owner's initials. For example, Michael Andretti's is M500MA, Chip Ganassi's is N300CG, etc. |

Hey Tony & Jeff. Any of you guys familiar with or use any test equipment manufactured by Barfield? Just curious. I guess it is a small world. I also work in the industry but I am on the sales end. I work for Barfield Inc. in Miami and we manufacture Ground Support Test Equipment that you guys have probably used at one point or another. Nice to meet others in the Aviation industry with the same interests.
Curtis. |

I too love to take motorsport pictures. I would love to get advice from experts on how to improve my shots. Some of the stuff I've taken is on my kids website: www.beattheboys.com
then the beat the boys page
I took all the "racing pics" ones and most of the "dad racing" ones. Any helpful hints on improving the quality are appreciated!

A photo/video nut like myself! I really think it would be very popular. I mean, we all got the love for one thing..... motorsports. And I know by now that my woman has got to be growing tired with me 'sharing' race pics with her So I'd come here (or whever) and share them with people that 'really' love me. Hehh hehh. Hmmm, never thought of that though Tom. Me- moderator of a photo/video forum? No stop!! Your killing me
I'd be obliged too actually-
I bet it would be popular!
Well maybe we could see a vote of hands?
I'm not trying to force on a forum on this site, just seing if it would be a 'frequent' stop for some people. Maybe not to post all the time, just checking in to see new and interesting racing/karting related pics and or vids.....
Take care all and good luck Tom on that site there of yours.
Best Regards,
*TG* |
