| New to water cooled, New to Leopard, What temps should I be running? How do you tell is your running to lean? Im not very sure about reading the spark plug, Any info welcome thanks |

120 to 140 degrees F. Use EGT to tune the engine. Take the plug out and look at the piston crown, s/b tan colored like cardbord. Look inside of the header, tan like cardboard. Black = too rich, white = too lean. _________________ Patrick Hubbell |

what about h20 temp. all the tags i have seen use this, not exhaust gas. your advice is always welcome.

The 120 to 140 is H2o. You want to keep it under 140. Egt can be anything from 800 to 1300 depending on the location of the sensor with respect to the piston. _________________ Patrick Hubbell |
