SATURDAY, AUGUST 18
The 2007 Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge Grand Nationals is now in the books following the event held at The Track at Centennial just outside Denver, CO. Championship Saturday was exciting and dramatic with a crazy ending to a long week for the Mad Maxers of the United States. When the final checkered flag fell, five drivers earned their first Grand Nationals title with 11 drivers awarded the honor of representing the United States at the Rotax Grand Finals in Al Ain, UAE as part of America’s Team presented by Mazda.

Final Results
FRIDAY, AUGUST 17
The Champ Car Rotax Max Challenge U.S. Grand Nationals took one step closer to completion on Friday when the final two rounds of heat races went into the books, capped by a quartet of Last Chance Qualifiers. The action was heated, although most of the drivers played it safe in order to maintain their positions at the front of the grids. When the day was done, the grids were set for Saturday’s Prefinals.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 16
While rain interrupted the proceedings during the afternoon practice sessions of the U.S. Grand Nationals on Wednesday, the weather stepped up to cooperate with the Rotax Max Challenge officials today as the first official runs were made under sunny skies. The qualifying sessions kicked things off this morning and were then followed by the first round of heat races, giving the paddock the opportunity to see which drivers had the stuff to challenge for the national championships and the positions on America’s Team for this fall Rotax Grand Finals in Al Ain, UAE.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15
The first day of action is under way at the 2007 Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge Grand Nationals at The Track @ Centennial in Englewood, CO. Drivers ran four sessions on the day to prepare themselves for tomorrow’s Qualifying and first round of Heat races.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 14
This week is the official ‘Rotax Week’ at EKN as all the Rotaxians from around the United States are calling Denver, Colorado home for the Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge Grand Nationals at The Track at Centennial. With 239 entries at nearly 6,000 ft. above sea level, this year’s event will be one of the biggest and highest events of the year. Along with the prestigious title of Grand National Champion, the drivers will be racing to earn a spot on Team America for the Rotax Grand Finals, set for November 26-December 1 in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
