SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10
Mother Nature made me a liar today when overnight rains brought near arctic temperatures to the southland today; a high of 60 is just no way to live. Fortunately, storm watch 2006 only dropped a little precipitation and we were running under dry conditions all day for the final event of the 2006 George Kugler Manufacturer’s Cup West presented by eKartingNews.com. Solid participation in most of the classes again today made for another exciting day of racing at the Adams Motorsports Park. Near flawless execution by the So Cal Sprinters and WKA staffs got us packed up and headed home by 4:30pm today with WKA Grand National Eagles in hand.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9
Buddy Long noticed what a beautiful day it was here at the world famous Adams Kart Track in Riverside, California for day one of the George Kugler Manufacturers Cup West presented by eKartingNews.com. Thank you captain obvious, there is a good reason we live here……78 degrees and sunny out in December. Lets take a look around the map today and see what it was like at other fine karting establishments, shall we? New Castle had a low of 24, a high 44, and clear skies. USA International rang in at a 39 for a high, low of 28 and partly cloudy. Daytona was pretty nice out with the mercury topping the charts at a rainy 72 and lows of 58. So we are pretty lucky to live in a place where cold is 65 degrees.
