SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15
Day two of the World Karting Association Manufacturer's Cup West series started promptly with the Santa Maria Kart Track gates opening at 7am and the first practice class rolling out at 8:30am. Podiums started around 2:30 and most racers were hitting the dusty trail before three, nothing like a great day of racing and being home in time for dinner.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14
Round two of the George Kugler Manufacturers Cup West presented by ekartingnews.com kicked things off Saturday under partly cloudy skies and the threat of rain. The precipitation never materialized and we were left with beautiful Santa Maria skies to start the finals. Santa Maria has always been a great place for racers on and off the track. The Ramada has changed names a few times over the last ten years, but memories of junior drivers releasing 150 superballs from the fourth floor into the lobby are still fresh in my mind.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 13
Karters across the west coast are in great anticipation for the second round of the George Kugler Manufacturer’s Cup West Series presented by eKartingNews.com. Heading to Santa Maria, California, October 13–15, drivers will try their skills on the Santa Maria Kart Track hosted by Santa Maria Karting Association. Today will see scattered storms today with partly cloudy skies throughout the rest of the weekend.
