Team News: Mach 1 USA - 2007 Drivers

Team Mach 1 Kart USA introduced their official driver line-up for the 2007 racing season during the Rotax Max Grand Nationals at Road America this past weekend. Audrey Staton from Ohio, Jesse Fischbach from Ohio, Chris Livengood from PA. and Garret Huff, PA. Chris, Garret and Jesse were part of the Team in ‘06 and both Chris and Jesse competed in the R-Max Finals at Road America.

New to the Team for '07 is Audrey Staton, who has shown excellent abilities and focus during this past year in other classes. Audrey will compete in the R-Max Challenge during her first year as part of Mach 1 Kart USA.

The Team will compete in both the Stars of Karting and the Champ Car Rotax Kart Challenge, including some local and regional races. Their final outing for '06 will take place at the Mach 1 Kart USA sponsored double-header weekend on October 14-15 at the BeaveRun Motorsports Park in Wampum, PA.

In other news, Mach 1 Kart USA announced a special program for "Factory supported Customer Teams" for the '07 season. Strong positive response has been received for the program, from many parts of the country.

Mach 1 Kart president, Dr. Ing Martin Hetschel, who visited the Team at Road America this past weekend, stated: "We are very excited about our new program for '07. The Factory in Germany will double its efforts to support every Mach 1 driver, especially in the USA. We believe that the US has a lot of dedicated and highly talented drivers on par with other World drivers and our focus will be to grow and increase our factory support and presence here".

Mach 1 Kart USA managing director, Joe ElChaar, added: “The Factory Supported Customer Teams program is meant to attract racing teams of 2+ drivers throughout the country, which will receive special discounted rates on karts and spare parts as well as direct technical support from the Mach 1 Factory in Germany."
