SUNDAY, JULY 9
Continued warm temperatures were calmed by cloudy skies as the Sunday event schedule was completed today with only a few major incidents. The main events were action-packed as a pair of veterans bagged huge victories in the ICC and ICA finals.

SATURDAY, JULY 8
Another great day of weather greeted the Stars of Karting competitors for the first day of competition at the third round of the Eastern Division, held at the karting facility of Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, NC. The action was extremely exciting with both the ICC and ICA mains being decided with last lap moves and contact.

FRIDAY, JULY 7
Hazy skies covered the karting facility at Lowe’s Motor Speedway today as a record divisional entry of 191 pilots filled the paddock and garages at the NASCAR venue. The event is the third scoring round for the Eastern Division drivers of the Snap-on Stars of Karting championship and the title chase will heat up this weekend as the contenders have most definitely been identified in all five classes.

THURSDAY, JULY 6
This weekend marks the end of the first half of the 2006 Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL as the Eastern Division competes in round three of their schedule at the newly paved Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, NC. Its been roughly two years since the national circuit has been to the historic facility.
