FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30
Thing wrapped up today for the World Karting Association’s Daytona KartWeek with the final day of races after three days of competition. The Manufacturer’s Cup Series had 15 different winners while the Road Racing Series had 31 different winners throughout the three days. Wesley Boswell took both ICC Final victories while Randy Fulks led all drivers in the road racing paddock with four victories overall. The event was run smoothly throughout the week with a few ambulance runs between the two courses with all the drivers able walk away from the accidents.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 29
Another beautiful day for racing graced the Daytona International Speedway for the second day of racing for the WKA KartWeek event. An early morning rain shower delayed things for the Road Racing division and a short intermission for scoring loop troubles at the Manufacturer’s Cup area, though the racing action all concluded in by 5pm.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 28
The 2006 season officially began today as racing got underway at the Daytona International Speedway for the 32nd Annual WKA KartWeek. Yesterday’s action gave the drivers and teams a full day of practice for both the Road Racing and Manufacturer’s Cup Series under sunny Florida skies.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 27
With the 2005 racing season finishing up last month, the 2006 campaign is set to kick off this week. After everyone found their favorite karting items under the Christmas tree this past weekend, most drivers and teams will break them in at the annual World Karting Association's KartWeek at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. EKN News Desk Manager David Cole is en route to set up camp in Daytona for an entire week of EKN Trackside coverage.
