| Northern California Marin Karting Rotax Max Challenge Crown Champions |

The final point standings have just been released for the Northern California Marin Karting Rotax Max challenge series 2005. The Northern California Marin Karting Rotax Max challenge is run as part of the 7 race Saturday Yokohama Race series held at Infineon Raceway.
2005 saw more than a 100% increase in participation for the Rotax classes over the 2004 numbers. 2006 is shaping up to be a great series with more drivers expected to participate in each class. The competitiveness and driver experience has also increased. The series boasted 6 drivers who attended the 2005 Rotax Nationals with two finishing in the top 10 in the International class. Many new drivers to karting were welcomed by the experienced competitors and the pit area was fun and clean all year.
Awards for the 2005 Northern California Marin Karting Rotax Max challenge series will be held at the end of season Karting Banquet, Sunday November 20 at the Unity Center in Novato. Class winners will receive trophies, Marin Karting gift certificates and gift vouchers from series co-sponsors Dominos Pizza and Coke.
Congratulations to all drivers and sponsors who helped make the series so successful. Special thanks to Ron Bennett for his help during the year.
