Will steers BRC to exciting Formula E race win over West after leaders fall, Kiker outlasts competition to win ICE
When the main event of this weekend’s round of the U.S. Superkart Championship rolled off the pit lane at Road America, all eyes were on the beautiful carbon fiber rocket of Colorado’s JR Osborne. After a dominant Prefinal win on Saturday, Osborne was starting from pole and was expected to show the way to his second straight series victory. Things didn’t play out that way, however.

SATURDAY, JUNE 11
Osborne captures Prefinal over Will in Formula E as Ingram wins ICE dice over Kiker
As the drivers of the U.S. Superkart Eastern Championship stood on the grid at Road America today for the second round of the series, there was an overwhelming atmosphere of excitement. With over 30 cars in the paddock, there is little doubt that this segment of kart racing is on the rise, and the momentum is definitely pushing the category to new heights of participation. The smiles on the faces of class stalwarts like JR Osborne and Johnny West say it all. Superkarting is enjoying a surge in popularity and this Road America event is proof positive.

FRIDAY, JUNE 10
Hot weather welcomes teams to round two of the Eastern Division
Summer has finally hit the northern Midwest area this weekend as the second round is underway for the United States Superkart Championship at the famed Road America facility. The slight chance of rain that was forecasted never become a problem as the mercury hit 90 degrees with clear blue skies. The heat was trouble for everyone and shade was a necessity to survive the entire day. The day was full of practice for nearly over 500 drivers, including the 29 USSC pilots.

THURSDAY, JUNE 9
Second round gets underway today at Road America
The new era will continue this weekend for 250cc superkart racers as the second round of the United States Superkart Championship East returns to the 4-mile Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The USSC teams will travel to the rolling hills of eastern Wisconsin to run in conjunction with Badger Kart Club’s Road America Supernationals. The event normally draws over 1000 entries from all over North America.
