Grand Vitesse Racing Announces Thousands in Early Entry Bonuses for PJ1 $25,000 Summer Sizzle
The richest one day event in North American karting history, the PJ1 Vegas Summer Sizzle Presented by Grand Prix Distributing, rescheduled to September 17 at the fabulous Xplex Motorsports Complex, just became more lucrative for racers who don't procrastinate. Racers who enter between now and August 15 are eligible for a whopping $2050 in early entry bonus incentives.
Competitors in the headline race, a two hour team event for the wide variety of karts meeting the TaG/Rotax Max formula (per TaG USA Rule Book) will split $1000. $500 in additional prize money will be awarded to the winning drivers (on top of the $4000 minimum already being paid). Second place will garner a $250 bonus. This being Vegas, an element of luck must be involved, and $250 will be awarded to a "lucky dog" team, finishing in a position to be drawn at the podium ceremony. Racers in the ICC/Pro Moto and ICA races will be awarded $250, $175 and $100 according to the same payout schedule.
To reiterate, to be eligible for the bonus awards, entries must be postmarked by August 15.
Grand Vitesse Racing's General Manager Glen Mazzone offered this on the bonus program, "It sure is easy to put paper work off until the last minute. Not many people, especially high energy racers, enjoy filling out forms and mailing entries. Since everyone who enters a race like this believes they have a chance to win, this program makes a great run even more lucrative. And with a blind drawing for the third bonus, even a not so good finisher can still go home with a bit of cash!"
At past events, Grand Vitesse Racing has employed discounted early entries with excellent response. This program is designed to add a little Las Vegas twist. |
