| PR Wire: Andrew Alfonso Heads to Sports Cars |

California native Andrew Alfonso, will make his second Rolex Grand-Am Series start at California Speedway this coming weekend supported by King Taco, RPM Aceleracion and JM Racing. Alfonso will drive the #03 Grease Monkey Racing 2004 Porsche GT3 in the SGS class. Alfonso made his sports car debut at the 6-hours of Watkins Glen with a sixth place finish.
Alfonso will be sponsored by companies he has met through his 10-years in karting; King Taco, RPM Aceleracion and JM Racing. King Taco, who organizes the annual King Taco Open at California Speedway, are big supporters of karting in Southern California. The family owned restaurant chain have been involved in karting for many years. RPM Aceleracion is the largest go-kart dealer in Central America. They first met Alfonso in 2003 when he was sent by the Avanti Kart factory to race in Guatemala, and been keen supporters of Andrew ever since. Alfonso drove in the second round of the Gua-Sal Championship GT Race in El Salvador in RPM Aceleracion’s GT3 Porsche a month ago. As part JM Racing, Alfonso finished second in the 2003 Star’s of Tomorrow West Coast ICA Championship in the Avanti. Andrew is currently helping develop the 2005 Avanti for JM Racing. In 2005, Alfonso plans on competing in the full Rolex Grand-Am series in GT.
