John Van Nghiem paced the Formula K1class with a 54.387-second lap over Matt Kimball and Ryan Lindhorst. The short entry list of just eight 80cc Senior class is a stark contrast to the former popularity of the class, which often enjoyed 60+ entry lists at the SuperNationals. Many drivers are now overlooking the K1 category in favor of a 125cc package and despite the well-documented training benefits of the formula, the demise of the class continues.
