| EKN Trackside: Rotax Max Grand Nationals |

Things are finally underway here at X-Plex for the 2004 Rotax Grand Nationals on Championship Sunday several hours late. Things have been delayed significantly by problems in timing and scoring and getting the proper grids for the Prefinals and LCQs completed and more importantly, correct.
Just prior to the start of the International LCQ, race director Marshall Martin made the announcement that the results may not be 100% correct but they had to get the program moving so he has declared them official. Martin also took responsibility for the problems, but that did little to alleviate the anger some are feeling over the situation.
If those problems aren’t enough, it’s begun to rain here and not everyone has rain tires. It could be interesting if the rain falls harder.
