| SKUSA Rules Update – TAG Classes |
| |
SKUSA has now added the Vortex Rok to the list of TAG engines allowed in both regional and PMT competition and weights for all Masters chasses have been adjusted due to an overwhelming response by the industry on this matter. All Masters engines now have a 30 pound increase to their senior class counterparts versus the previous difference between the two.
In addition, there has been a clarification on the type of Italsistem engines allowed, digital or analog ignitions The analog ignition option is offered only for the Senior class and the digital offered for the Masters.
The current class weights are as follows as changed to section 40.1 of the SKUSA Regulations and Tech material. No word has been received yet as to whether TAG is making the increases in weight to their Masters class listing as of today; however we should receive word of confirmation soon.
