| Series News: Unlimited All-Stars to Visit Winter Kart Shows |

The Volusia (and Daytona),and the Holiday Classic are now history and the Western States kick-off the BK5 is going on as I write this. The 2013 season is underway. With that said, there are still a few events slated to cap off the 2012 season.
Next Saturday is the OVKA Swap Meet at the fairgrounds near Springfield, Ohio. American Muscle Kart/UAS/Bergfelt Racing Ent. LLC will have a booth right next to the Stevens who will be showing off their 2012 Championship winning machine driven by Robbie Sarchet. The 2012 awards will be on display and I have received confirmation that the 2012 Runner-Up, Justin Westerfeld will be there to pick up his award at 1:00 pm.
The next weekend American Muscle Kart/UAS/Bergfelt Racing Ent. LLC will have a booth at the American Karting Show in Charlotte, NC. That show is Friday and Saturday at the Metrolina Tradeshow and Expo. The awards presentation will take place at the booth at 2:00. Last year a large crowd gathered around to witness what was going on and this year will be no different.
A couple of months ago Teresa convinced me to start a Facebook page. I have found that to be an excellent way of communicating on the internet. For most of the UAS issues I need to deal with a phone call or email is the best way to handle them. Trying to contact me on a public internet open forum is not effective. My phone number is still 724-462-7440
We also have established an American Muscle Kart Facebook page that has turned out to be an excellent, often times, up to the minute way of keeping up with what is going on in the world of open kart racing. All UAS administrator have been given posting privileges on that page. Some administrators have yet to be set-up. For that to happen they will need to start a facebook page and then “Like” the American Muscle Kart Page. Let me know when that is done and I can set you up. We have been collecting items for the Spring issue of AMK. If you would like to advertise in that issue now is the time to make that arrangement.

To get the membership application page go to http://www.unlimitedallstars.org/membership.html Please be advised that new members must join through a regional administrator. Renewals should be sent directly to the National Office. Also please be aware that you can reserve your national number for the season for $10. The details are on the membership page. The reserved number will be on your membership card.
