Robert Bujdoso, 5-time World Karting Association Champion and current driver in the ARCA Racing Series – a long running stock car racing series that has proven to be a launching pad for many of NASCAR’s biggest names – has a new competition in his sights. Bujdoso has entered Champion’s ‘Always a Champion’ contest in which a total of $125,000 sponsorship money will be distributed among the 15 winners. The lucky grand prize winner will receive $50,000.
To be considered, racers from around the country created and posted videos at http://www.alwaysachampion.com explaining why they deserve to win the ‘Always a Champion’ contest. Finalists are selected on which videos get the most votes.
Bujdoso recently completed one of his most successful racing seasons, clinching his fifth WKA TaG national title in three years.
His stock car efforts also saw him rising to the top as the rookie racer earned two top-15 finishes among over 40 cars in his two ARCA starts at Kansas Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway. With the 2013 ARCA season quickly approaching, Bujdoso would like nothing more than to win the ‘Always a Champion’ contest as he sets his sights on competing in more ARCA events this year.
“The 2012 season was a great year!” said Bujdoso. “In 2013 I’m going to try to shift my focus more to stock car racing in hopes of doing more races in the ARCA Series. Being the son of first generation Romanian immigrants who came to this country with very little has taught me to work hard for what I want. I like to get my hands dirty and I’m not afraid to work hard. I cannot thank everyone for all the support in 2012, and I truly appreciate everyone who has voted for my video. Remember you can vote daily so keep the votes coming!”
Voting remains open until February 3, 2013. To vote for Robert, visit http://alwaysachampion.com/contest/entry/1368310 |
