| Full Lineup of Sponsors Ready for Daytona Dirt World Championships |
| Article by: WKA PitBoard |
WKA officials are busy preparing for one of the biggest Daytona Dirt World Championships in recent memory and with approximately a week and a half until the prestigious event, the class sponsor lineup has been set for the fourth annual Speedway Dirt national event at the Daytona International Speedway quarter-mile limestone-based Flat Track this December 27-30.
The top-paying event is the big $10,000-to-win Pro Clone (big pipe, open dry clutch), which will close out Daytona KartWeek's schedule as the final feature to run Sunday night, December 30.
Maxxis Goldspeed USA and the North Carolina-based Charger Racing Chassis have signed on to sponsor the big Pro Clone class, which will pay back 10 positions. Over 40 drivers have pre-entered for Pro Clone and many more will be ready to enter at the track.
Saturday night's headline division is Pro Animal, paying a cool $2,000 to the winner and already boasting over 30 pre-entrants. Briggs & Stratton Racing has stepped up to sponsor the big Pro Animal event along with New York-based Slack Karts.
Before the big Pro Clone feature goes off Sunday night, junior racers age 12 to 15 will take center stage when Pro Junior Animal goes off prior to Pro Clone. Pro Junior Animal, running gold plate, pays $2,000 to the winner with sponsorship from Platinum Racing Chassis out of South Carolina.
Pro Junior Clone, a popular division for drivers age 8 to 12, will run as Saturday night's second-to-last class and pay $2,000 to one lucky youngster. South Carolina-based Ultramax Racing Chassis has signed on to back the Pro Junior Clone class, which runs green plate and small pipe.
Pro Junior 2 (Animal and flathead blue plate) for drivers age 10 to 12 will run for $2,000 to win on Sunday afternoon, sponsored by the North Carolina-based Nall Speed Shop. Flatheads get a 10-pound weight break to the Briggs Animal-powered karts.
Pro Junior 1 (Animal purple plate) for drivers age 7 to 10 will go off as the 13th class Saturday. Virginia-based BDL Motorsports has stepped forward to sponsor the big $2,000-to-win affair for the youngest racers in attendance.
Pro Champ will pay $500 to the winner with support from Possum Kingdom Super Speedway in South Carolina.

Streeter Big Foot kart stand to Hard Charger in Pro Animal, Pro Junior Clone at Daytona Dirt
A special Hard Charger Award has been established in Saturday night's two headline Pro classes at the WKA / Tri-State Pro Series Daytona Dirt World Championships at the Daytona International Speedway Flat Track.
The Streeter Super Stands Hard Charger Award will be presented to the driver who advances the most positions in the Pro Junior Clone and Pro Animal main events, Saturday's final two classes, each paying $2,000 to the winner.
The Hard Charger in the two classes will be presented a Streeter Big Foot kart stand, the original, top selling kart stand on the market.
The Hard Charger Award winner is defined as the driver who advances the most positions (from starting position to finish position) in the feature event. If two drivers advance an equal amount of positions, the tiebreaker will be based on which driver qualified best, i.e., started further forward.
The Streeter Big Foot stand will be presented to the award winners on Sunday morning.

A set of AKS RaceFab bodywork will go to the feature winners in the following four classes.
- Animal Super Heavy (Saturday)

Shawn Lyter of Al's Kart Supply will have the bodywork on hand at Daytona and a WKA official will present the bodies to the winners following post-race tech.
