| Team News: Team SKS Pilots Head to Vegas to Fight for SuperNats Glory |

After a very successful 2012 karting season, Team SKS (Southern Karting Specialties) will next make the cross country trek to Las Vegas, Nevada for the 16th annual SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals. Taking place on the grounds of the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, Team SKS will enter a pair of drivers in two of the event's most talent-filled divisions. Dominic Tesoro will see action in the TaG Junior category while the always fast Nicholas Bruckner will do battle in a stout field of TaG Cadet drivers.
"2012 has been an exciting season for Team SKS," explained team principal Tony Tesoro. "While we've had some of the inevitable ups-and-downs, SKS drivers have performed well and consistently shown front-runner speed at every event along the way. Both Tesoro and Brueckner have consistently run at the front of the field in their respective divisions. We're looking to finish the 2012 season off strong at the SuperNationals."
While both drivers have been battling up and down the eastern half of the United States, the duo has competed mostly throughout the state of Florida. Running both the TaG and Rotax weekends of the Formula Kart Productions Florida Winter Tour, they also saw action in the Florida Karting Championship Series, United States Rotax Grand Nationals, Rotax Summer Shootout as well as both the North Florida and South Florida Rotax Max Challenge programs.
Bruckner, who won the United States Rotax Grand Nationals Micro Max championship in August, has shown speed with his Mini Rok package in the Tag Cadet division as well. Looking to build off his national championship, Brueckner is looking to hit the jackpot in Las Vegas. While Dominic has been battling hard in the junior ranks, running with some of the nation's top drivers, he has run into some bad racing luck. Scoring a pair of top fives at the Rotax Summer Shootout in July, Tesoro will look to improve upon those results in Las Vega. Tesoro will run a Russell Karting Specialties powered Kosmic chassis while Bruckner will look to pilot his CMW powered Kosmic to victory in the TaG Cadet division. Both drivers have recently turned in their familiar Rotax power plants for a Leopard and Mini Rok and have completed countless number of laps testing at both Ocala Gran Prix and Orlando Kart Center in preparation for one of the biggest events on the season's calendar.
Tesoro added, "We have high expectations and goals heading into Las Vegas. With the 2013 season just around the corner, we plan to continue building our momentum and nothing would be better than standing atop the podium at the SuperNationals."
