Rotax Challenge of the Americas Launches New Website and URL
Article by: rotaxchallenge.com

The newly rebranded Rotax Challenge of the Americas series is proud to announce its new home and look on the world wide web, with the launch of the new website - http://www.rotaxchallenge.com . Created by southern California-based Rational Design Studio with an updated URL address, the Rotax Challenge of the Americas site is moving into the 2013 with a new look and the series is expecting record numbers for the upcoming season.

“This coming season is building strong momentum as we are just two month away from the opening event in January,” stated series promoter and longtime Rotax supporter Andy Seesemann. “With our partnership with Gatorz ending, we felt it was the perfect time to update our presence on the internet. The new-look site provides the same features, such as results, rules and up-to-date news regarding the series. We will also be using the site to further promote our series supporters and provide some unique videos from the 2013 season on the website. I hope everyone visits RotaxChallenge.com today so they can see what we have to offer for the 2013 season.”

The Rotax Challenge of the Americas will once again offer all seven Rotax Max Challenge categories for the 2013 season. The schedule will host six rounds of racing on three weekends between January and March, based in the southwest section of the United States. The year is scheduled to kick off at the Musselman Honda Circuit in Tucson, Arizona on the January 11-13 weekend. The following month is a return to the Copper State and the PKRA Formula K Raceway north of Phoenix on February 8-10. The series will then complete the final two rounds of competition and crown the 2013 champions at the CalSpeed Karting circuit outside the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California - March 8-10.

Highlighting the Rotax Challenge of the Americas prize package for the 2013 season are the four tickets to the Rotax Grand Finals. Drivers who earn the series championships in the DD2, Senior Max, Junior Max and the DD2 Masters categories will be awarded a spot at the ‘Olympics of Karting’ for 2013. Champions in the Masters Max, Mini Max and Micro Max will earn a qualifying spot to their home country Rotax Grand Nationals. Each champion must be properly qualified by the Rotax Max Challenge rules of their home country to accept these prizes.

A number of companies within the karting community have placed their support for the 2013 Rotax Challenge of the Americas program by signing on as class sponsors: Buddy Rice Karting, Billet Performance Karting, CRG-USA, Rolison Performance Group, Holeshot Drive Systems, and Overdrive Motorsports. One position still remains for 2013 sponsorship, and any team or company interested are encouraged to contact Andy Seesemann today to learn more about the unique opportunities the Rotax Challenge of the Americas can offer.

Pre-entry for the entire 2013 Rotax Challenge of the Americas season will open in the coming days. For more information and to follow updates as the season draws closer, bookmark http://www.rotaxchallenge.com
