| WKA Announces 2013 Manufacturers Cup Series Schedule |

The World Karting Association is pleased to announce the 2013 schedule for its most successful national program, the Mazda / Bridgestone Manufacturers Cup Series.
The Man Cup Series, as it's popularly referred, will again boast a six-race national schedule that visits some of the best sprint karting tracks in the United States.
As always, the upcoming year's tour will kick off in the final days of this calendar year at the Daytona International Speedway Sprint Track. The Margay Sprint Championships will run December 27-30 at The World Center of Racing. The Daytona entry blank will be available Wednesday.
The series will head to Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, S.C., for the third straight year for round two. The event is two weeks later this year - April 5-7 - due to the Florida Winter Tour schedule and the Easter holiday.
Round three is at New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, Ind. The event will be May 17-19.
Round four is the 2013 Man Cup Grand Nationals at Michiana Raceway Park in South Bend, Ind. The Grand Nationals will be June 28-30.
The fifth round is at Pittsburgh International Race Complex near Wampum, Pa. The Pitt Race show is August 16-18.
The season will close with a new venue, not far from WKA headquarters in Concord, N.C. On September 27-29 the Man Cup will make a highly anticipated debut at the brand-new Mooresville Motorplex in Mooresville, N.C.
In an effort to space out the events, the 2013 schedule gives teams and families a minimum of six weeks between every event.
All classes with exception to Komet (KPV) Sportsman will run for a single championship. The best nine out of 12 races will be counted, giving families the option to miss a race weekend and still have a real chance at a national championship. Komet Sportsman will run Saturday only and will continue as best five out of six races toward the championship.
