| Driver News: Alex and Mikey Hornborg Ready for Night Race This Weekend |

After reaching the halfway point in the Ocala Gran Prix local series, the program will return to their second night race of the schedule in race four of five, and Alex and Mikey Hornborg will be looking to continue their string of strong runs. After making the switch to their new race divisions after the United States Rotax Grand Nationals in August, the duo have been honing their skills in the Sunshine State in preparation for the 2013 karting season.
Taking to the track on Friday afternoon and into the evening for a little nighttime practice, Alex and Mikey will enjoy Saturday morning off before practice for Saturday evening's event starts mid-afternoon. With three practice sessions and qualifying taking place before the wheel-to-wheel action commences, both drivers will look to battle the series regulars and newcomers as the OGP local program continues to grow.
"I have heard that there are a lot of drivers coming to race in both the Rotax Senior and Junior divisions as they test for the Rotax Grand Finals," expressed Alex Hornborg. "Having them there with the regulars will be good."
"I am excited to get back on track this weekend for the night race," explained Mikey Hornborg, younger brother of Alex. "Racing under the lights is pretty cool."
While Alex Hornborg will see action in the talent filled Rotax Senior division, Mikey will once again be back behind the wheel of his Rotax Junior machine in the largest field that the series has to offer. Both drivers will continue to utilize Ocala Gran Prix powered Tony Karts as they vie for positions on the top step of the podium.
