| Industry News: Comet Kart Sales Becomes Official Birel Dealer |

MRP Motorsport announced today that Comet Kart Sales would become a premier dealer for Birel Racing Karts & Freeline Accessories. Since 1959, Comet Kart Sales has been a staple in karting as a leading kart shop, providing karts, parts and engine building services in the Midwest. The operation also operates one of the most popular online stores in the industry and in addition to their Greenfield, IN location, also services many customers at New Castle Motorsports Park, Indy’s most popular karting facility.
“The Dismore family and staff at Comet Kart Sales have been friends and competitors for many years and always on our wish-list as a dealer, but the timing and circumstances had never worked out,” said Steve Miller, General Manager at MRP Motorsport, United States Importer for the Birel brand. “We are very happy to have this opportunity to work with them now as they have proven to have all the great elements we value in a Birel and Freeline dealer.”

Comet is taking delivery of their initial shipment of Birel karts and they will be able to offer the entire line of karting models, from kid kart to shifterkarts very soon.
“We will be working directly with MRP to add Birel and Freeline parts to our online store,” continued Dismore, Jr. “We have some very exciting developments we are working on and the Birel brand will be a large part of them. We hope to launch the new website by Thanksgiving.”
