IKF Region 11 Championship Series Offers $1,000 to Race Winners in Fresno
Article by: ikfkarting.com

The 2012 season for the International Kart Federation (IKF) Region 11 Championship Series will come to a close on the October 27-28 weekend. The Kerman Kart Club (KKC) will host the sixth and final event of the year, held at the Fresno Fairgrounds in Fresno, California, set to crown this season’s class champions, while also padding the pocket of race winners with some much wanted cash.

As they did previously in the year, the IKF Region 11 Championship Series will award race winners with $1000 cash to any class winner with categories holding 15 or more entries. For those categories running with 10-14 drivers will see $500 go to the winning driver. Other prizes and trophies for the podium finishes will also be awarded in Fresno.

An added bonus, the series is welcoming all Superkarts! USA drivers to the event to test one final time for the upcoming SKUSA SuperNationals XVI in Las Vegas on November 14-18. With the Kerman Kart Club temporary circuit at the Fresno Fairgrounds, it provides the ample setting for some serious testing conditions. KKC is offering 125 Stock Moto, TaG Senior, TaG Master, TaG Junior and TaG Cadet groups on the weekend, along with the SKUSA MG (White) tire. All IKF classes will continue to compete on the spec Bridgestone tires with Rotax categories utilizing the Mojo rubber.

The finale in Fresno on October 27-28 will be no different with Don Malony and Dave Brant overseeing the on-track duties with John Motley taking care of tech inspection.
