Formula Kart Productions, the exclusive owner and promoter of the Florida Winter Tour kart racing program, has announced the official venues, dates, and class structure for 2013.
The action commences on January 12-13, at Palm Beach International Raceway with the opening round of the Formula Kart Racing program, which features the Open Shifter, Masters Shifter, Stock Moto, TaG Senior, TaG Junior, TaG Masters, and TaG Cadet classes. One week later, the Rotax Max Challenge program gets underway at the same facility, with Rotax DD2, Rotax DD2 Masters, Rotax Senior, Rotax Junior, Rotax Masters, Rotax Mini Max, and Rotax Micro Max on-course. The title chase then goes to Homestead-Miami Speedway, with the Formula Kart Racing program on February 16-17, and the Rotax Max Challenge program on February 22-24. The three-event Florida Winter Tour concludes at Ocala Gran Prix via he Formula Kart Racing program on March 16-17, and Rotax Max Challenge program on March 22-24.

The Florida Winter Tour is one of the world’s largest, longest running and most geographically diverse kart racing programs. In 2012, the FWT featured over 400 drivers from 28 countries and all six karting continents, and for the fifth consecutive year was the world’s largest official Rotax Max Challenge series and event.
