RLV/PRD-USA announces the following updates to the 2012 PRD 125cc Controlled TaG Rules. All new items will be legal October 12, 2012
Battery: The new PRD-USA battery along with the current Kartsport battery are both legal for all PRD 125cc Controlled TaG classes. This new battery will have an increased useful life span.
Clutch: The 2007 PRD clutch has been discontinued by the PRD factory. However, they have extended the availability of the replacement clutch centers through 2013. The 2007 PRD clutch is legal for all PRD 125cc Controlled TaG classes through December 2013.
Ignition: The OPPAMA ignition has been discontinued by the PRD factory. To date there are no coils or rotors available for the OPPAMA ignition. The OPPAMA ignition is legal for all PRD 125cc Controlled TaG classes through December 2013.
Seals: The PRD-USA low drag, single lip, Teflon faced oil seal is now available. It is red in color and marked PRD-USA. This seal is an alternative to the current OEM factory installed high interference seal. Both seals are legal for all PRD 125cc Controlled TaG classes.
