| TS Racing Announces Contingency Program for Rock Island Grand Prix |
| Article by: rockislandgrandprix.com |
The Rock Island Grand Prix, presented by AT&T and Casey’s General Stores, and TS Racing have announced a far reaching contingency program for chassis, tires and engines for this year’s event.
* If a competitor wins the TAG Junior, TAG Senior or TAG Masters race with an IAME X30 engine, they will receive a TS Racing gift certificate in the amount of $250.
If the winner of the race is on a different type of engine, the highest placing finisher in the final that is driving an X30 engine will receive a TS Racing gift certificate in the amount of $100.
* Winners of any final who are on four Vega tires will receive a TS Racing gift certificate in the amount of $200.
* If the winner of the final in any class is on a DR Racing chassis they will receive a TS Racing gift certificate in the amount of $200. Team drivers for a DR Racing Kart importer other than TS Racing are not eligible for this contingency but private race teams are eligible.
“The combination of DR Racing chassis, X30 engine and Vega tires is an unbeatable force. We know that all of our products are competitive at major national events like the Rock Island Grand Prix. This program will reward those drivers who help prove that point,” said Brad Zoeller of TS Racing.
“We are always looking for opportunities to partner with karting companies for the benefit of our competitors. We hope everyone will consider the great opportunities that TS Racing is offering,” said Grand Prix president Roger Ruthhart.
The Florida-based DR Racing team will be at the event. Competitors interested in space under the tent should contact TS Racing at (352) 793-9600. For more information on TS Racing go to TSRacing.com.
