| K1 RaceGear Offers Unique Award Opportunities for 2012 Grand National Participants |

As the teams prepare and add the finishing touches for the 2012 United States Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Nationals that will take place August 7-11 in South Bend, Indiana at Michiana Raceway Park, K1 RaceGear has beefed up the pot with some added incentives for competitors in all seven classes.
The Carlsbad, California based company has been a huge supporter of the karting scene since 2005 and Richard Zimmermann, who handles Sales and Consulting for their entire line of quality racing equipment, put together a noteworthy program for those racers competing in the Grand Nationals event.
Drivers who place first, fourth or eighth in their class will receive special prize awards from K1 RaceGear that include many sought after items from K1 such as carbonite shoes, reflex gloves, K1 RaceGear neck collars and even Custom Kart Suits for select classes. “We are always looking for ways to get more involved and find new ways to get out the word about K1 RaceGear products,” Zimmermann explained. “With the way this prize program has been designed, we wanted to be able to spread the love a little to also include those who may not finish first. We took into consideration the drivers that make the tremendous effort to get to and participate in these National Championship events and they may have one little hiccup during the race, say where they get punted off the track, yet they manage to carve themselves all the way back up higher into the pack. In addition to each of the class winners, we also just wanted to reward those drivers for making the effort to be back up there in the hunt.”
For drivers and teams wishing to participate in the K1 RaceGear Awards Program for the 2012 United States Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Nationals, hopefuls must first place two K1 RaceGear decals on the front of the kart anywhere in the red grid area, as noted below.
For those drivers who do so and place first, fourth or eighth in their class, please be prepared to submit a digital photo of the proper decal placements to K1 RaceGear following the event for promotional purposes and to redeem for their specific K1 RaceGear award.
