Club News: Kawartha Durham Kart Club - Training Day
 


Kawartha Durham Kart Club will be offering a training day which is open to all karters and racers who want to get an edge on the competition. Training is open to all years, makes and models of chassis and engines.

Topics include kart chassis set up race starting strategies, looking ahead and hitting your mark, entry vs. exit speed, setting up for a pass and much, much more.

Cost for the training day is only $50. Gates open at 7:00am and registration begins at 7:30. Those interested are asked to email president@kawarthadurhamkartclub.com .

On Sunday, 8 July, 2012 put your new knowledge into practice by coming out to the kart club’s race #6. Entry fee for race day is only $70 and spectators are encouraged to attend, free of charge. Visiting racers are welcome to attend as many KDKC races as you wish throughout the year. Classes for the day will include Novice, Junior Lite and Heavy, Senior Lite and Heavy and Masters.

Kawartha Durham Kart Club races at Kawartha Downs and Speedway, Fraserville (close to Peterborough) on Hwy 28 just off of Hwy 115. Enter through the tunnel at the main entrance; larger rigs may enter over the horse track from the north entrance.
