| Team News: Ocala Gran Prix to Add Sponsored Drivers to Race Team |

Looking to continue the success gained from team drivers in the past several years, Ocala Gran Prix is set to add to their sponsored driver list. With select competitors moving on to different programs, changing classes and graduating from the sport, OGP will be looking for a host of new team drivers. Looking to fill voids left in all the Rotax classes, OGP's Jorge Arellano and his race team crew will personally headhunt potential up and coming drivers at this weekend's North Florida Rotax Max Challenge program in Ocala as well as the final round of the Florida Karting Championship Series at 103rd Street Motorsports Complex in Jacksonville, Florida in two weeks time.
"I have always given back to the karting community in the form of sponsorships and the funding of some drivers in my program," expressed OGP President Jorge Arellano. "I like to take mid-pack guys and help them win, and I like to take podium finishers and help them dominate."
The Ocala Gran Prix team driver platform is a program that is rivaled by no others. Receiving karts, engines, tuner and all the supplies necessary including gears, tires, chains, kart transport, etc. to go racing at the national level, drivers and their families are only responsible for getting themselves to the races.
With nothing in this world coming for free, sponsored team drivers also have a role within the Ocala Gran Prix program. Not only will sponsored team drivers be expected to play an active role in their own kart setup and maintenance, they will also be required to help OGP customers who are under the team tent. Whether it be driver coaching, cleaning of equipment, breaking in motors or just providing some advice, the responsibilities of a sponsored team driver is greatly increased.
Arellano added, "We have had drivers including Nick Neri, Cody Hodgson, Oliver Askew and several others in the program who have garnered race wins and major championships in all the ranks. I am looking to continue this success as we move forward into the 2013 racing season and onwards. I have a strong feeling that all sponsored drivers must be able to commit 99% to their racing program. If a driver can't do this, then I need to replace the said driver with someone who will do what I need them to do. While I am not going to sponsor competitors from around the world, drivers must live in the state of Florida. Also, all new sponsored drivers will be required to attend and compete at the Florida Winter Tour, North Florida Rotax Max Challenge, Florida Karting Championship Series, OGP local races and the United States Rotax Grand Nationals."
Ocala Gran Prix team drivers will have the opportunity to work one on one with the likes of Alex Speed, Gary Carlton, Nate Grindell and Mike Maurini. With chassis setup, driver coaching and data analysis, the goal of the Ocala Gran Prix program is clear, winning!
