| Series News: Northwest Gold Cup Challenges Racers to Test Their Best |

The Northwest Gold Cup following two of the strongest entry lists that it has seen in over a year, will bring its show to The MAC Track in McMinnville, OR June 15-17, 2012, and the series challenges all competitors who think they have what it takes to come test their hand against the Northwest’s best.
Rounds three and four of one of first and longest standing regional karting series in the nation, were held in Richland, Washington at Horn Rapids Raceway Park which will be home to the International Karting Federation’s 4 Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals July 12-14, 2012. It saw entries of over 20 competitors in both Rotax Junior and Rotax Senior/International, and over 15 entries in the Shifter division.
The N.W. Gold Cup Series is home to some well-known national Rotax competitors such as Phil Arscott, Derek Wang, Geoffrey Roberti, and Stephanova Nekeel to name just a few. The last event saw the first seventeen (Yes, Seventeen) qualifying spots in Rotax Senior/International separated by just .428 of a second! The N.W. Gold Cup is also home to some well-known junior Rotax competitors such as Luke Selliken who earlier this season swept three straight GatorzSeries events in Rotax Junior, and Jacob ‘Blue’ Hudson who was crowned Gatorz Winter Series Champion in the Rotax Micro Max division, and Multi-time Gatorz winner and IKF Junior expert ‘Sting’ Ray Robb.
