After a month of catching up on a busy first quarter of the 2012 season, the staff at eKartingNews.com has finally been able to complete the editing of our audio broadcast from this year’s Superkarts! USA Pro Tour opener - the MG Tires SpringNationals. The April 20-22, 2012 weekend at the PKRA Formula K facility in Glendale, Arizona hosted a record number of racers during the third annual event. The temperatures were extremely hot, and the action on-track was just the same as eight categories completed the opening two rounds of the five-race championship series. If you were there, or were unable to tune in live during the EKN Trackside Live broadcasts throughout the weekend, now is your chance to listen in all 16 main events of the event.
“Since introducing the EKN Trackside Live program to our event coverage format, we have been focused on bringing in new elements bit-by-bit to make our coverage even better,” stated eKartingNews.com Managing Editor David Cole. “Now that we are streaming each and every Trackside Live event live on the Internet, we have the ability to record that audio and make it available for racers and fans to listen at any time. With EKN’s own Rob Howden on the microphone, it really makes you feel like you are right there.”
The recordings of the SKUSA MG Tires SpringNationals from Arizona are now available for immediate listening or download at the EKN Event Page. You can also subscribe to the EKN Trackside Live Broadcasts iTunes page, so that every time a new event is available, your computer or iPod will download them instantly. Audio from the remaining Gatorz Challenge of the Americas will be available in the coming weeks.
The next EKN Trackside Live broadcast will be from the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah for the third running of the SKUSA SummerNationals, rounds three and four of the SKUSA Pro Tour. Be sure to have http://www.ekartingnews.com/live bookmarked for the July 20-22 weekend. Any companies interested in supporting that weekend’s broadcast in Utah are asked to contact us via email sales@ekartingnews.com . |
